Our Story & Inspiration
Our journey draws deep inspiration from the visionary legacy of J. Jayalalithaa, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu who established the Amma Unavagam in Chennai. Carrying that exact spirit forward, our restaurant was founded with a clear mission: to bring the warmth, comfort, and authentic flavours of home to our community in Poland.
Why We Do It
Though this concept was years in the making, we believe the time is right to bring it to life. We operate not as a commercial enterprise driven by profit margins, but as a dedicated act of service. Far away from home, our Indian Tamil community often misses the authentic taste of traditional biryani that can be challenging to find abroad. We exist to bridge that gap — serving our most sought-after dish with authentic preparation to ensure no one misses the flavours of home.
